What is Electroforming?
Electroforming is the process of growing copper on an object using an electric current and an acid bath.
This is an in-depth, multi-step process that requires countless hours of trial and error to learn.
Each piece can take weeks to complete, depending on size and components, are in the bath anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, is checked on, moved, adjusted, and touched up at regular intervals.
Many adjustments to chemicals and voltage are needed during the bath time for each piece during the electroforming process.
Due to the unique nature of the copper growth during the electroforming process, each piece is unique.
